I have sucked at actually posting blogs.. damn .. oh well. I think God is showing me a ton in relation to what life is really all about.. and for the first time I feel pretty damn good and comfortable with who I am.. what I am doing, and where I am at in life. I almost forgot about grace and forgiveness to be honest with you all.. then I was magically reminded by it. I switched churches and to be honest, I am amazed by my pastor and his family.. and my friends whom I have made.. Also fantastic to be a part of the band at "The Bridge" .. it's fantastic to be playing with some solid musicians, and not only for "church" but .. for the city. LOOOOOVE IT.. Okay so I might be a little crunk on shock top and hot wings.. SOO GOOD.. Life is good. I love you all!

Sawatika,

I am in Thailand! .. The noises, smells, and culture remind me so much of China it's incredible...

We are working with an organization called At Risk Children International.. We get the chance to play with youth who are at risk of being abducted, and even trafficked into prostitution. From there we will be off to Pattaya where the girls from our team will be going to minister to women who are in prostitution, the boys in our group will be doing ministry to male tourists who come for the single purpose to buy sex from women in Thailand. We then come back to work with a ministry called "Night Light" where women are given the opportunity to have a career to help get them out of prostitution, and secure them with a solid job. Once we return from Thailand we kick off our band tour, playing to youth groups, churches, and schools while campaigning the social injustice that is taking place in Thailand.

prayer requests for our group would be for unity while we are on the missions field, and for continual favor and doors opening up for areas that we will be able to do ministry!

Update

To give you a little info and background on the classmates I am with..

Brandon: He is a southern boy!!! Grew up in a small town outside of Atlanta, Georgia in the US.. great off the wall sense of humor!

Micah: Came from Pune, India ... Though mostly considered a "states kid" .. He grew up between the United States and India as a "M" kid. .. Amazing at composing lyrics and chord progressions!

Jason: Also known as "Jaso".. born in Arizona, USA.. but moved to Australia as a kid.
Has a gift to attract youth who rub against the grain... if you get what I'm saying.
Phillip: Born and raised in Victoria Australia

Dara: Dara is the only other girl with me and she is from Vancouver BC Canada... Dara sweet Dara has the voice of Ben Harper and Lauryn Hill's none existing love child.

Then there's Morgan our head school leader whom we lovingly call "Momma Mo" .. and she is from Colorado.. and there are 2 other school leaders Sarah who is from New York City, New York United States .. and Also Bec who is from Canada.

Together we have been studying social injustice world wide, learning and grasping new statistics on prostitution, and human trafficking..Statistics that are alarming to us. We are praying for the social injustice to come to an end, with this generation leading the fight. Along with learning about the needs of certain nations we are becoming well equipped and furthering our gifting in music. To combine the knowledge and heart for the Nations that we have to bring awarness to the issue behind human trafficking and prostitution.

Last week we cut deep into song writing... where we learned poetry, rhyming schemes, personifications, alliterations, and assonances and such to enhance our communication and lyrical writing skills. We also cut deep into studying structure and composition of songs as well.

This week we are learning about recording and audio engineering in depth. We learned about how microphones work, and which mic works best for particular jobs. We also learned about sound waves, volume decibels, tones, vibrations, harmonics and how it all relates to when recording.. It's hard to attempt to spill it out so you can all understand unless you can see the relation of everything I am sharing now.

I am learning way more then I thought I would in the music realm which is excellent. Truthfully I feel like I am being further trained in excellence for the Lord.

We are now trying to raise money for the second half of the school.. So I'm asking you to please just pray.. Pray if you are to give or if you are to be in continual prayer support!

Anyway I have to get back to writing a song for Friday now..

Peace,

God is Good!

This is just a quick post but a nice fun little read.. because GOD IS SO GOOD!

So prophetically spoken over me by a worship pastor back home in Montana was that Isaiah 58:6 would have a lasting impact on ministry that I am called to take part of, and that it will all make sense later. It was a word of knowledge that God had given her .. and sure enough a few months later.. I am now in Australia at a missions training base, to learn how to minister and speak against injustice.... and the theme given to us and verse for the school is sure enough Isaiah 58:6-

God is good!
This is just to give you all an idea of where I am now living, working and studying..

I fly out tomorrow from JFK to LAX from LAX to Brisbane Australia .. from Brisbane to Townsville. Time has flown and I am in disbelief that I will be in Australia with in 48 hours! I discovered today that there are at least 4 other people going to the same YWAM base leaving JFK flying out the same route as me, so we all organized a meeting place so we can hangout during the layovers..
Anyway I was just thinking about this one time, I was flying out of Montana. I was sitting there, seconds later I found myself engaged in conversation with this lady with her child who must have been 10 months or so. I asked her where she was headed off to, and she said down to Huston TX. I asked her if it was for vacation (it was around Christmas time) and she replied no, she had to take her child to see a specialist, and this is the only time she had off from work. She pointed to a lump on the side of her daughters forehead, it made me choke up a little, truthfully. I didn't think more of it until after we got off the flight to catch our connecting flights.... but I stopped, I asked if she did not mind if I laid hands on her daughter and pray for her daughter.. and the lady said that would be alright.. I knelt down to pray for her daughter and truthfully it was Holy Spirit just flowing through me I am not sure what I released, but it was all the power of God, that I felt come over me. Somehow I knew right then and there, that she was healed. After I was done praying for her daughter, I went to step back.. but the little 10 month old, grabbed my hand as I went to stand up and she just gripped onto my fingers and she smiled and giggled at me, like she had this sense of peace new health and joy about her. The mother had her hand over her mouth and gasped with a smile, not to mention tears rolling down her face and a sigh all at the same time. Her mother knew that God had done something right then and there without anything having to be said. I stood up and told the lady, that God can do so much more, if you allow Him the room in her life to let Him work, and she smiled and said she knew. I turned and went my way as she and her daughter went their way.
So I guess why I decided to write that story is simply because I LOVE PRAYING FOR PEOPLE IN AIRPORTS. Don't ask me why, but it seems like the best place to do it. So I guess you can figure out what I will be doing tomorrow.. :-D
GOOOOOOO GOD.
